Boise, ID (CBS2) — Caldwell Police have identified and arrested two suspects in the shooting near the College of Idahothat occurred on the morning of Sunday, February 19.
Detectives developed sufficient evidence and probable cause after three days of investigating to support that the shooters were Milo Yerby (19) of Middleton and Traystin Riach (19) of Meridian.
With assistance from the Meridian and Garden City Police Department's IMPACT TEAM, the two were arrested on Wednesday, February 22 at their homes without force or incident. Both are being charged with Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm at a Dwelling, Riot, and Intimidating a witness.
“Today is another example of how professional, dedicated and relentless our detectives are in the pursuit of justice for our community. When the shooting occurred on Sunday morning, I knew that the individuals involved, wouldn’t be able to escape the team of tenacious and astute investigators we have in our Department. This violence must stop. Enough is enough!” said Rex Ingram, Caldwell Chief of Police
