DeBoer spilled some of her health secrets in an interview with Profile.com. She says that she is a lot more likely to stick to her plan, when she has a plan. "I think I'm the kind of person that needs that structure and routine. I like knowing what I'm going to eat and at what time. After all the years, I know that it works for me, and I know my body responds well to it. The routine is just ingrained in me, and I love that. If I get off track for a minute, I always know what to do to get back to what makes me feel good."
In addition to using a plan, DeBoer tells Profile that using a coach is another thing that helps her stay on track. "I did start seeing a coach again. I went for a few weeks in a row just to get myself back on track. I've obviously been on Profile before, but getting that refresher and going into a coach I think helps so much. Being held accountable to go each week and talk to someone was super helpful."
DeBoer, like many, loves to take Peloton classes at home to help her stay in shape. "I haven't been obsessed with anything workout-wise before, but I love my Peloton," she says to Profile. She also says that one instructor is a favorite of hers. "Cody Rigsby is my fave."
DeBoer likes to cook a lot of meals for herself and her family. She tells Profile that she has recently started preparing food in a new way. "I'm obsessed with my air fryer," she says. "I air fry everything. It just makes it super easy to have a healthy, good dinner."
In 2021, after welcoming her fourth child, DeBoer was ready to get back into shape. She wrote on her Instagram stories that she felt very motivated to be healthier. "I turn 30 this year and I'm ready to be motivated. I have a goal in mind. I want to be feeling 100 percent by then."
