George Santos sounds off on NYC mayor after car vandalism: 'Resign in disgrace'

George Santos, the recently ousted New York State congressman, slammed New York City Mayor Eric Adams in a fiery video posted to social media Wednesday.

Santos demanded the mayor “resign in disgrace” over his administration’s handling of crime, which the former congressman claims allowed his car to be broken into this week.

“You want to know what I got for Christmas?” Santos asked in the video shared to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. “Mayor Adams, you are so good at running this city. The Christmas gift I got is — it’s a first for me. I’ve never thought I’d experience this in my life, but I guess we’re back to New York City in the 70s.”

He then panned over to show his vehicle with a shattered rear passenger side window. The profanity-laced video continued with a tirade about Adams's city.

“You were a cop right, you piece of s---? Is that what you do? Is that how you’re keeping the city safe you f------ animal?” Santos asked. “Don’t move to New York, stay the f--- away from here."

“This city only cares to f--- over Americans and take our taxpayer dollars and shove it in the a---- of these migrants while the city is dangerous," he continued.

NYC Deputy Mayor for Communications Fabien Levy, however, did not believe Santos's story.

“99% sure you broke into the car yourself” Levy saidvia X. He later added,“update: confirmed with NYPD that the car is a 2018 vehicle and NOT new as you falsely claimed, @MrSantosNY. Also, decided to look up the car (with all the bells and whistles) on @KelleyBlueBook and you overvalued it...but that's no surprise.”

Santos later fired back, saying,“sorry but when something is new to me as in I just bought it it’s new ... I’m curious to know if this is what my taxes go to in NYC, funding a hack Non-elected bureaucrat to attack me a private citizen on social media?”
