Cody Rhodes may be known as the American Nightmare right now but there was a time when he portrayed a very strange character. It was in line with his brother’s Goldust’s character and he was called Stardust.
In 2014, Cody Rhodes created the identity of Stardust, a character who collaborated with his real-life half-brother Goldust in a tag team. Stardust gained notoriety for his outrageous appearance, face paint, and unusual ring attire, which included a complete bodysuit covered in stars. He also exhibited odd behaviour and mannerisms in the arena, giving the character a unique personality.
Cody Rhodes had the chance to explore his creativity and express himself in a different way while he was Stardust, which was one of the major changes he went through. He committed himself completely to the eccentricities and distinctive qualities of the character. As he played a character who was very different from his previous image as Cody Rhodes, this gave him the opportunity to display his acting abilities and show his versatility as a performer. Fans and other wrestlers equally noticed his commitment to the Stardust character.
Cody Rhodes’ transition to a role that was mainly tag team, teaming up with his brother Goldust, was another significant change during his tenure as Stardust. As a result, he was able to collaborate closely with his family and grow closer to his sibling both inside and outside of the ring. The Rhodes brothers made a distinctive dynamic that connected with fans through memorable matches and plots as a tag team.

Cody eventually expressed to move away from the Stardust persona and follow his own course, though. He left WWE in 2016 and started competing in independent promotions using his actual name, Cody. His ability to reinvent himself and present his abilities and creativity in a new way characterized this as a pivotal moment in his career.
He has since gone on to create waves in the wrestling world. He was a senior vice president and wrestler at All Elite Wrestling, which he co-founded. After a brief stint there, he made his triumphant return back to the WWE and had some memorable matches with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.
Cody has come a long way since his time as Stardust and will now look to fully put that in the past concentrate on the present and win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
