Rodman won his NBA championships in 1989, 1990, 1996, 1997 and 1998. During his glorious career in the NBA, the legendary forward played for the Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks. 

1989: First NBA Ring

Dennis won his first ever Championship in the third year of his NBA debut. After the 1988 Finals heartbreak vs the LA Lakers, the Detroit Pistons Made it to the Finals again the following season. In an easy finals victory, the Pistons won the title 4-0 against the Los Angeles Lakers. Rodman played an integral defensive interior throughout the series, despite suffering from back spasms. The forward averaged 10.0 rebounds, 5.0 points and 1.3 assists in four games as he won his first NBA ring.

1990: Back-to-back Championships

The Pistons lifted back-to-back titles in the following season, defeating Portland Trail Blazers 1-4 in five games. However, Rodman suffered from an injured ankle that cut down his playtime in the finals. Nevertheless, he averaged 5.5 rebounds, 2.3 points and 0.8 assists in the series to win his second NBA ring.

1996: First of the Three-Peat

The 1996 Finals was Rodman’s first finals appearance after being traded to the Chicago Bulls. In the six-game series against the Seattle SuperSonics, Dennis played a substantial role in their title win. His two games with 11 offensive rebounds tied Elvin Hayes’ NBA Finals record. Rodman averaged 14.7 rebounds, 7.5 points and 2.5 assists in six games as the Bulls lifted the title. 

1997: On the Way to the Three-Peat

Dennis Rodman won the fourth ring of his NBA career defeating the Utah Jazz in the 1997 finals. The Chicago Bulls won the series in six games, beating the Jazz 2-4 where Rodman played a more integral defensive part. He averaged 7.7 rebounds, 2.3 points and 1.5 assists in six games as his team lifted the Championship. 

1998: Three-peat Complete 

Winning his fifth NBA ring, Dennis Rodman and the Bulls defeated Utah Jazz yet again in the 1998 Finals. The Bulls won the finals series 2-4, where Rodman’s on-court performance proved clutch for his team. Grabbing 14 and 8 rebounds in the fourth and sixth games, Dennis was also able to hold on Karl Malone. Rodman averaged 8.3 rebounds, 3.3 points and 1.2 steals in six games as the Bulls completed their iconic three-peat.
