Is the Special Cargo warehouse in GTA 5 worth buying?

The Special Cargo business is an active business that can only be done after the player registers as a CEO. He/she can either do this using the interaction menu or can go to the CEO Office and register from there. The Special Cargo business cannot be done if the player registers as a Motorcycle Club President.

The Special Cargo business is an active business which means it constantly requires work to make money. The player must log in to the CEO computer from the office and source crates from there. Alternatively, the player can also source crates from the Terrorbyte and this is much more efficient.

Players can choose whether to source 1,2 or 3 crates at a time. The prices range vary between $2000, $8000 and $20000 respectively. After this, a mission starts that is marked on the map. These missions can vary from simply finding and bringing back the crates to the warehouse to killing waves of enemies to source the crates. These can often get very tedious.

Once the crates are brought back to the warehouse, the player has 2 options. He/she can either sell it immediately or can continue sourcing crates to stack them up and sell them later for a profit. The maximum number of crates that can be sold entirely solo is 9 crates as a second delivery vehicle spawns after 9 crates.

The Special Cargo business can often get very tedious and time-consuming. The enemy NPCs will also come equipped with powerful weapons and strong vehicles. In conclusion, the Special Cargo Warehouse is only worth purchasing if you can run it with a friend. It is very grindy to do it solo and a player can rather invest in an Import-Export Warehouse, as it proves to be much more solo-friendly.
