The first-round playoff series between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Phoenix Suns started well. But the Clippers weren’t able to convert the shot that would have shifted the tide in their favor. Eventually, Kevin Durant hit the dagger, and the Suns won by 6 points at 136-130.

Devin Booker gets the most credits for the dub as he dropped a 47-point performance, dished out ten assists and got eight rebounds. He was backed by Kevin Durant (31 points, four assists and six rebounds) and Deandre Ayton (21 points, three assists, and 11 rebounds). Norman Powell got 27 points for the Clippers, and even Brodie chipped in 14 points with eight rebounds and assists each. But none of that helped as the Suns have advanced.

The Clippers have been disappointing since the 2019-20 season. And, so far, we are yet to know the real potential of the team as all their superstars and key players have never been available and completely healthy during the post-season due to injuries.
